Hoping that Iran could jump from an Islamist state to a revolutionary socialist/ feminist one doesn' t sound like a realistic scenario. If or when the regime will inevitably fall apart, there will.have to be some sort of transition towards democracy. The majority of iranians do not support the islamist regime, but 13 million do.
So, in order to avoid a civil war and further bloody clashes, there has to be way to transition peacefully towards democracy.
