"Centrist" - corporate media-speak for "Hard-right, pro-fascism-enabling neolibs/neocons". Little doubt Nuttyahoo is a "Centrist" - let that sink in.

Do you REALLY believe these politicians are unaware of the likely effects of their rhetorical attacks? Their masters desire the far-right, and the one group these "centrists" GENUINELY HATE is the authentic left - most especially the "Soft left", like Corbyn, that they would struggle to demonise and control.

Academics warned of the dangers of "Austerity", and what it would do. Academics warned of constantly promoting-by-opposing the "Far-right", and what that would do.

The Left is silenced, invisibled - along with the non-fash working classes.

We have controlled opposition to the controlled opposition, and none of this is by accident.

And yet to say such things is to be "Conspiratorial".

Funny thing is, as soon as you tug at those "Conspiracies", real facts emerge quite quickly.

Sure, Baathism is/was brutal - more brutal than the Saudi, or Israeli regimes though? Or the UK & US for that matter?

Your first sentence certainly gets attention, but is to me very unacceptable. If I have to have a label it might well be a centrist, because I can understand the arguments of 'lefties' and I have to respect the views of someone who says, "I want less government; I want to make my own decisions; I don't want a nanny-state.

If you want to draw attention to how badly politics are handled by the media I would probably agree with you. I subscribe online to a number of newspapers and I can see that the Guardian is by far the one with the most integrity, but some of its readers are rather extreme!

Then I would call you a traditional liberal - small l. Liberalism is about the rights of the individual, the left is community, and the right hierarchy.

I personally loathe the Grundiag, being a rightwing shitrag that sold out Corbyn, the Gazans, and every truly liberatory movement that ever existed.

It's great on "Identity Politics" of course, being a neoliberal centrist shitrag that clutches at straws to have 'relevance' - just like New NuLabour.

There's nothing wrong with being a liberal - I consider myself one, as I'm anti-authoritarian, and while soft left (Corbyn) and soft right (Traditional Conservatism) are perfectly acceptable, I find the extremes of both to have highly objectionable elements. Granted, I've moved more to the left as I've aged, not least because the people are HURTING, and more welfare would do them a world of good, along with investment into the national real world economy (As opposed to the neolib Thatcherite/B'Liarite scam of financialisation and reFeudalisation.).

But primarily, my focus is "libtard", and I'm proud of that.

Call me a "Centrist", and its pistols at down!! ;)

What the corporate media call the "centre", is far to the right.
